How to Play Escaping the Prison

The game kicks off with Henry Stickman, your character, stationed in a lonely prison under the watchful eye of taunting security guards who deliver you a package. This is where the underlying theme of the game—choice—comes into play. Being a puzzle game, the decisions you make may or may not pave the way for a real opportunity to escape. Along the journey, you uncover more about your character through trial scenes and unravel the backstory of the bank robber who landed you in jail.

The initial package includes a cake containing a few potential items—you get to select what's hidden inside the box! Choose from an energy drink, a teleporter, or a cell phone, and observe the different scenarios that unfold based on your choice.

The importance of choice

Your decisions aren't limited to just aiding your prison escape; in certain scenarios, you also get to influence the course of your trial. The game is multi-layered, so what you witness isn't necessarily a linear reflection of time.

Opt for the Cell Phone

This scenario equips Henry Stickman with even more decisions to make. By using the cell phone to contact his lawyer, a series of events unfold in court where you must choose the crucial piece of evidence that could alter your fate.

Choices include presented trial evidence like a concealed money bag, a shovel, a mysterious device, security footage on a videotape, a letter from the detective, or blueprints of the bank floor. What will you choose? Will it lead to Stickman's freedom?

Opt for the NrG Drink

In this scenario, Henry manages to flee prison but at a significant cost. The energy drink grants him enough strength to physically bend bars and escape, yet he succumbs to a heart attack on his way out.

Opt for the Teleporter

Choosing the teleporter enables Henry to successfully escape from prison. However, he ends up in a fatal scenario as the teleporter transports him right into the sights of a firing range where he becomes the primary target.
